Academia de Mestres Cristaos a Brazilian educational platform focused on theology and leadership training experienced a data breach on March 29 2025. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 13 thousand user records. The compromised data includes sensitive personal and contact details such as full names email addresses and phone numbers. Furthermore the leak contained passwords stored as SHA1 hashes which are considered cryptographically weak. Physical addresses dates of birth and specific information regarding enrolled or taught courses were also part of the leaked dataset posing a risk of targeted phishing and identity theft for the affected Brazilian users.
