The cryptocurrency advertising platform Adbit.biz suffered a significant security breach resulting in the exposure of user data. A threat actor managed to compromise the database and extract information belonging to approximately 260 thousand individuals. The leaked information includes user email addresses, registration timestamps, and account passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. This breach is particularly concerning for users who reuse credentials across multiple crypto-related services as it facilitates credential stuffing attacks.
