AdultFriendFinder 2016

In October 2016 the AdultFriendFinder Network suffered a massive data breach affecting multiple sites including AdultFriendFinder and Cams.com. The incident resulted in the exposure of over 412 million accounts. The breach was attributed to a Local File Inclusion vulnerability that allowed attackers to gain access to the database. The leaked information included account credentials and personal details which were stored with weak hashing algorithms like SHA-1 making them highly susceptible to cracking.
