In April 2014 the gaming cheat provider known as AimJunkies suffered a significant data breach affecting its user base. The compromised data included sensitive details such as electronic mail addresses unique usernames and technical identifiers like IP addresses. The leaked records were later circulated in the cybersecurity community and added to various breach notification services.
