Ajarn

In September 2021 the Thai website for English teaching Ajarn discovered a significant security breach. Investigation revealed that the actual hacking incident occurred back in December 2018. The compromised database contained sensitive personal information of users registered on the platform. The breach was primarily attributed to unauthorized access to the web server which allowed attackers to export the user database. The exposed data includes email addresses and hashed passwords alongside other personal identifiers which puts users at risk of credential stuffing and phishing attacks.
