AlfaBank 2023

In October 2023 the NLB hacking group claimed a massive data breach of AlfaBank impacting approximately 21 million customers. The compromised data includes sensitive personal and financial identifiers such as full names phone numbers email addresses dates of birth and partial credit card details. The threat actors alleged that while there were 21 million client records the aggregate number of phone numbers reached 60 million with 46 million being unique entries. This incident represents one of the largest financial sector leaks in the region involving multiple database tables containing account and card validity information.
