In September 2022 the Russian gift store Alfagifts experienced a data breach resulting from a vulnerability in the OpenCart e-commerce platform. This security flaw allowed unauthorized access to the customer database of several sites including Alfagifts. The incident exposed personal information of clients who used the service for purchasing gifts and corporate souvenirs. The compromised data includes contact details such as phone numbers and email addresses along with full names of the users.
