In early 2023 an Indonesian online grocery platform AlloFresh suffered a data breach involving a significant amount of customer data. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive information stored in their database. Security researchers noted that the leak likely originated from an unsecured database or a system vulnerability that allowed unauthorized access to user profiles and transaction details. The exposed data includes personal identifiers which could be leveraged for phishing and identity theft targeting Indonesian consumers.
