Alora

In early 2018 the Runescape private server Alora suffered a significant data breach affecting over 207000 users. The incident involved the exposure of sensitive database records including account credentials and connection logs. Although the server administration initially downplayed the extent of the unauthorized access the leaked data was later identified in the public domain. The breach was primarily attributed to vulnerabilities within the forum software used by the community which allowed attackers to extract the user database containing hashed passwords and network identifiers.
