Play.anicloud.ru a Russian Minecraft game server platform suffered a data breach on May 3 2023. The incident exposed approximately 7 thousand user accounts. The compromised data includes sensitive technical and personal details such as user nicknames and IP addresses recorded during both the first and last login sessions. Additionally the breach involved the exposure of user passwords secured with the BCRYPT hashing algorithm which is generally robust but remains a target for offline brute force attacks.
