In November 2024 the Russian Minecraft hosting provider ApexNodes.xyz suffered a significant data breach. The incident led to the exposure of sensitive information belonging to approximately 70000 registered users. The leaked dataset includes user email addresses, nicknames, hashed passwords, IP addresses, and Discord identifiers. This security failure exposes users to potential credential stuffing attacks and social engineering attempts specifically targeting the gaming community.
