Argentina Citizens Data Breach

In November 2024 a significant data breach exposed approximately 11 million records of Argentina citizens. The stolen information includes full names addresses dates of birth and electoral registration details. While the exact entry point remains unconfirmed the data appears to originate from government or electoral registers. The breach was discovered after a threat actor listed the database for sale on a dark web forum posing a high risk for identity theft and social engineering attacks targeting the local population.
