In August 2022 the Russian Agency for Strategic Initiatives experienced a significant data breach allegedly involving two independent threat actors. This resulted in two separate database dumps appearing online containing approximately 45 thousand and 570 thousand records respectively. The compromised information includes personally identifiable information of users and employees along with hashed credentials. The breach was likely caused by vulnerabilities in the web infrastructure allowing external access to internal databases.
