Asiandate is a mobile application for Android designed for dating and social interaction with Asian women. In the beginning of 2024 a SQL database dump was discovered on various underground forums and data sharing sites. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the service backend resulting in the exposure of approximately 600000 user records. The leaked dataset contains sensitive personal information including user nicknames email addresses and IP addresses used during registration or login. This breach exposes users to potential phishing attacks and account takeovers especially if the same passwords were reused across other platforms.
