In November 2019 the Spanish adult forum known as Ata-k suffered a significant data breach. The incident involved the exposure of sensitive user information from their database. The leak contained details for approximately 34 thousand registered members. Exposed data included unique usernames, email addresses, and IP addresses. Additionally, passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt were part of the compromised dataset. The breach originated from an unauthorized access to the forum backend which allowed the extraction of the entire member table.
