The incident led to the exposure of a database containing sensitive customer information. The leak originated from an unauthorized access to the web server resulting in the compromise of user credentials and personal identifiers. The data was discovered being shared on various underground forums and darknet resources. Security analysis indicates that the leaked passwords were hashed using MD5 with salt which is considered a weak cryptographic protection by modern standards.
