Electronic Arts Battlefield Heroes experienced a significant data breach involving its player database. The incident resulted in the exposure of user information from the free to play shooter game. The breach was linked to the hacker group LulzSec as part of their LulzSec Reborn campaign. Compromised data included account credentials and personal identifiers. The attackers exploited vulnerabilities to gain unauthorized access to the backend systems and subsequently leaked the database online for public access.
