Beeline 2017

In 2017 a database belonging to the Russian telecommunications giant Beeline was exposed. The incident revealed sensitive information regarding approximately 5.5 million subscribers. The compromised data included personal details such as full names and residential addresses. Additionally technical information about active home internet tariffs and associated contact phone numbers was part of the leak. This event is part of a series of security incidents affecting the operator during the mid to late 2010s highlighting vulnerabilities in subscriber data management systems at that time.
