In late 2021 a database containing personal information of employees from the Russian telecommunications company Beeline was exposed online. The incident involved an internal repository that was left accessible without proper authentication. The leaked records contained sensitive details about the workforce including full names corporate and personal contact details and residential locations. This leak posed significant security risks to the staff members potentially leading to targeted phishing or social engineering attacks against the company infrastructure.
