In February 2015 the BeepXtra loyalty card cloud platform experienced a significant security breach involving an SQL injection attack. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 760000 user records across multiple database tables. The leaked data included sensitive personal information such as full names and email addresses. Furthermore the dump contained usernames and salted MD5 password hashes along with the IP addresses of the registered users. This data was subsequently shared on various underground hacking forums and public data repositories.
