In 2019 an unsecured call center database belonging to Belpost the national postal service of Belarus became publicly accessible. The incident exposed records of approximately twelve thousand individuals who had contacted the customer support center. The data included personal identifiers and logistical information related to their inquiries such as postal indices and summaries of the issues reported. This exposure was primarily due to a misconfigured server that allowed unauthorized access to the support logs and customer interactions.
