BEUTiFi

In September 2022 the beauty booking platform BEUTiFi suffered a security breach that exposed personal details of approximately 126000 customers. The incident involved the unauthorized extraction of user data from the website database. Compromised information included email addresses and geographical locations as well as passwords stored as SHA-1 hashes with salt. Following the cyberattack the platform ceased operations and its web services remain offline as of current reports.
