BidSpirit

In June 2023 the international auction platform BidSpirit experienced a data breach that exposed the personal information of approximately 15 thousand users. The incident affected customers across multiple regions including Russia Israel and the United States. The compromised dataset originated from an auction house specializing in antiques and collectibles. The unauthorized access led to the exposure of sensitive contact details which could be used for targeted phishing attacks or identity theft operations against high net worth collectors.
