BinWeevils 2017

In 2017 the popular children virtual world and online game BinWeevils suffered a major security breach. An unauthorized third party gained access to the database containing information of millions of players. The compromise exposed sensitive user details including login credentials and technical identifiers. This incident followed a previous smaller scale leak from 2014 highlighting recurring security vulnerabilities within the platform infrastructure.
