In November 2022 the mobile gambling application Black Diamonds Casino suffered a data breach. The incident resulted in the unauthorized access and subsequent exposure of approximately 128000 user records. The leak primarily contained sensitive contact information and account metadata. Investigations suggest the breach occurred due to a security vulnerability in the applications backend infrastructure which allowed malicious actors to scrape or export the user database. The exposed information was later found circulating on various underground forums and public data sharing platforms.
