An Iranian platform for construction tools and building materials known as Bnaia experienced a data breach in late 2023. The incident exposed the personal information of approximately 3200 users. Security researchers identified that the leaked database contained sensitive customer details which were subsequently shared on various dark web forums and data leak marketplaces. The exposure likely resulted from a vulnerability in the website database management system or an insecure API endpoint allowing unauthorized access to the user repository.
