The incident involved the unauthorized extraction of sensitive information from the agency responsible for drug control and prevention. Investigation suggests the vulnerability was exploited through a misconfigured portal or SQL injection which allowed the attacker to exfiltrate records containing personal details of individuals and administrative data. The leak was subsequently shared on various underground forums and darknet platforms to undermine the security reputation of the Indonesian government infrastructure.
