In June 2023 the hacker group known as NLB claimed responsibility for a significant data breach involving the Russian bookstore chain Bookvoed. The threat actors gained unauthorized access to the company infrastructure in May 2023 and subsequently leaked a database containing approximately 3.5 million records. The compromised information includes extensive customer details such as full names, email addresses, and mobile phone numbers. This incident follows a pattern of attacks by the same group targeting major Russian retail and ecommerce platforms during the same period.
