In April 2024 the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia known as BPK suffered a significant data exposure. The incident involved the leakage of approximately 735000 audit related records from their official portal. The compromised information includes internal department names audit dates specific company names categories products and financial transaction amounts. This leak provides a detailed look into the financial oversight activities and auditing processes of the Indonesian government which could be exploited for corporate espionage or fraudulent activities targeting the involved entities.
