Breach.vip was a known cybercriminal forum and marketplace dedicated to the trading and distribution of compromised data. In early 2023 the platform itself suffered a significant data breach when its database was exfiltrated and leaked online by rival threat actors. The incident exposed the internal workings of the community including private communications and account details of its members. The leaked data included user credentials and technical logs from the forum server which facilitated further mapping of darknet activities.
