In April 2020 the Russian online store Brutalica specializing in knives and outdoor gear suffered a significant data breach. The incident involved the exposure of several database tables containing approximately 100000 order records and over 22000 user accounts. The compromised data includes personal identification details and hashed credentials. The leak originated from an unprotected database or a system vulnerability allowing unauthorized access to the customer backend and transaction history.
