Caraks.ru

At the end of June 2024 the Russian online store caraks.ru specializing in car covers and automotive accessories suffered a data breach. The incident led to the unauthorized disclosure of personal information belonging to approximately 10 thousand customers. The leaked dataset was published on public forums and included sensitive contact details such as full names email addresses and mobile phone numbers. The breach likely occurred due to a technical vulnerability in the website database management system allowing external actors to extract the subscriber list.
