In 2019 the Minecraft server case opening platform CaseTime.pro suffered a security incident. The breach resulted in the exposure of approximately 18 thousand user accounts. The leaked data included sensitive information such as user email addresses and nicknames. Additionally internal server data regarding account balances was compromised. The incident appears to be a direct compromise of the website database which allowed unauthorized access to the registered user lists. This event affected the community of players who used the platform for purchasing virtual items and opening loot cases for their gaming experience.
