In August 2022 a significant data breach affected CDEK Market and CDEK Shopping platforms. The incident was part of a larger series of cyberattacks against Russian logistics services. Hackers leaked sensitive user information including full names, contact details, and dates of birth. The breach also exposed user passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt. The CDEK Market portion of the leak contained records for approximately 87000 users while CDEK Shopping added another 20000 records to the total count. The data was widely distributed on various underground forums and telegram channels following the initial compromise.
