Cerebriti

In January 2020 the Spanish educational and gaming portal Cerebriti suffered a data breach that exposed the personal information of approximately 126000 users. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the database containing sensitive user details including full names and security credentials. The data was later found circulating in the public domain and various underground forums. Security researchers noted that passwords were protected with the SHA1 hashing algorithm which is considered weak by modern standards and susceptible to cracking.
