In 2020 the Russian online store CiShop specialized in electronics and home appliances suffered a significant data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 23500 customer records from their internal database. The leaked information originated from two primary database tables containing user profiles and detailed order history. Data points exposed include full names, contact information, physical delivery addresses, and technical metadata such as IP addresses. This breach allowed unauthorized access to purchase habits and personal identifiers of the store customers.
