ClownForum

In May 2021 the online community known as ClownForum suffered a data breach that exposed the personal information of its members. The incident resulted in the unauthorized access and subsequent disclosure of user credentials and identification details. The breach primarily affected the forum database and led to the exposure of thousands of accounts. Since the incident the website has remained largely offline or in a state of maintenance showing messages about ongoing cleanup efforts. The scale of the leak reached approximately 6.3 thousand unique users who were active on the platform at the time of the compromise.
