In June 2022 the Russian interior design and web development platform CNT-Design suffered a data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive user information from their database. The compromised data included personal identifiers such as full names and nicknames along with security credentials including email addresses and passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt. Other metadata like registration dates and preferred language settings were also part of the leaked records. The breach impacted a small but specific set of users associated with the design and development services provided by the site.
