Collection #3

Collection 3 is part of a massive set of data breaches discovered in January 2019. It consists of a large scale aggregation of various database credentials leaked over several years. This specific collection contained approximately 20000 files totaling 37 GB of data. The dump included around 1 billion lines of records including email addresses and passwords. While many records were duplicates or previously seen in other breaches there were millions of new unique entries exposed on popular hacking forums. The incident represents one of the largest credential stuffing resources ever compiled at that time.
