In June 2019 the real estate platform CondoCom experienced a significant data security incident that resulted in the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 1.5 million users. The breach involved the unauthorized access or disclosure of database records containing sensitive customer details. The information compromised in this event included full names of the users along with their email addresses and mobile phone numbers. Additionally geographic location data associated with the accounts was part of the leaked dataset. This incident posed risks of targeted phishing and unsolicited communications for the affected individuals who were using the service for apartment rentals and purchases.
