In September 2022 the Russian business consulting platform What to do consult known as 4dk.ru suffered a data breach resulting in the exposure of its user database. The incident involved the publication of an SQL dump containing information for approximately 150 thousand users. The leaked data includes personal identifiers such as full names and email addresses along with contact numbers and technical metadata like IP addresses. Analysis of the dump revealed highly fragmented and cluttered data structures which included details about the companies associated with the users. The breach highlights vulnerabilities in business service platforms handling corporate client data in the Russian region.
