Cossackland.org.ua

A data breach occurred at Cossackland.org.ua which is a Ukrainian internet magazine focused on the Cossack region. On June 2 2024 a database compromise led to the exposure of registered user accounts. The incident resulted in the unauthorized access and publication of sensitive user credentials including system nicknames and email addresses. Security analysis indicates that passwords were stored using PHPASS hashing algorithms. Additionally some records contained direct links to individual user profiles on the platform. The leak appears to be a targeted attack on the regional media outlet resulting in a complete snapshot of the user table.
