CouponMom

In 2014 a significant data incident surfaced involving a file containing 11 million records. The data was initially attributed to the website CouponMom but further analysis showed overlaps with Armor Games. Both organizations investigated the leak and concluded that the dataset did not represent their entire user base and appeared to be an aggregation of records from multiple sources. The breach included sensitive information such as email addresses and plain text passwords making it a high risk for credential stuffing attacks across different platforms.
