DAI Ukraine

A massive database leak from the Road Automobile Inspectorate of Ukraine known as DAI occurred in 2005. The incident exposed approximately 9 million vehicle registration records. The compromised data included technical details such as license plates, vehicle models, serial numbers of parts, and engine displacement. Additionally, the leak contained sensitive personal information of vehicle owners including their full names, dates of birth, and residential addresses. This data breach represented one of the largest exposures of citizen and transport data in the region at that time.
