About this leak

In March 2021 the Belarusian online clothing retailer Damoda24 experienced a significant data breach resulting in the exposure of approximately 14000 user records. The incident involved an unauthorized gain of access to the store database which contained sensitive customer information. The leaked data included personal identifiers and security credentials. Analysis of the dump revealed that user passwords were stored using the SHA1 hashing algorithm with salt which is considered cryptographically weak by modern security standards. This vulnerability increases the risk of credential stuffing and brute force attacks against the affected users.
