In October 2020 the Russian online store DataKabel which specializes in cables and electronic accessories suffered a cyberattack. A threat actor successfully compromised the database and publicly released information belonging to approximately 90 thousand customers. The incident exposed contact details primarily used for order processing and communication. The scale of the breach was limited to specific user identification fields and did not include complex financial data or stored credentials according to available reports.
