In October 2022 a database originating from the official Ukrainian declaration portal was circulated on hacker forums. The data contains public asset declarations of civil servants. While the information was technically accessible via official channels the aggregated dataset includes 5.3 million records containing personal identities and professional details of government employees and their relatives. The incident is classified as a data scrape rather than a traditional hack because the information was publicly available on the website for transparency purposes.
