In November 2019 the Turkish treasure hunting and hobbyist forum Defineyolu.club suffered a significant data breach. The incident led to the exposure of sensitive user information after an unauthorized access to the website database. The leaked data included email addresses, usernames, and IP addresses. Additionally, passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salts were compromised. The website has since become inactive, but the breach affected approximately 37 thousand registered members whose credentials were made public in the underground community.
