The incident began with the release of five hundred thousand records followed by a massive expansion to forty six million rows. The dataset contains highly sensitive personal and financial details of Russian citizens. While some sources attribute the data to the microfinance organization DengiSrazy others suggest a broader compromise of credit bureau systems. The leak was distributed via darknet forums and telegram channels posing a severe risk of identity theft and financial fraud.
