DLH.net

In July 2016 the gaming community website DLH.net experienced a significant security breach resulting in the exposure of millions of user records. The incident occurred due to a vulnerability in the forum software which allowed attackers to gain unauthorized access to the database. The exposed information included registered user accounts and their associated metadata. This breach was particularly concerning as it included MD5 hashed passwords which are considered weak by modern security standards and susceptible to cracking.
